Apartment Review for Riverchase - Tulsa, OK

This place was a mediocre apartment to begin with. We ONLY did the 6 month lease. They didn't take care of the trash around the apartments. And the worst part of this complex is when you move out. The only thing we did at our apartment was pretty much sleep and keep our belongings. When we moved out and got our exit statement they ended up charging us 168 dollars for a repaint of the apartment. Which had no blemishes, holes, scrapes, or imperfections what so ever!! Then they charged us 25 dollars cause they had to clean our stove which was already clean! Then charged us 45 dollars for cleaning carpets, which had no stains, or imperfections at all!!! Which none of these things are stated in the lease that you have to do before you leave, or that you have to pay for when you leave. When I called to resolve this situation they just kept telling me that the paint only has a 2 year life expectancy. Which does not have anything to do with me living in the apartment. The apartment complex with try and make you pay for their overhead of moving a new tenant into their own apartment complex. DO NOT get yourself into the situation that we did. You cant find you a better apartment all over Tulsa without the BS that you will receive from this complex! I would never recommend this place to anyone unless you know of a lawyer that will help you get out of this types of charges for free!
