Apartment Review for Coventry Park Apartments - Tulsa, OK

Do not live at Coventry Park. At first glance it is a really nice apartment the staff is wonderful and willing to help. Once they roap you in you are stuck. We have lived there for 2 yrs now. Our refrigarator hasn't worked since we lived there. The freezer keeps freezing over there is something blocked. Well they have came out time and time again to fix it. Well when they finally got tired of coming to fix it they told my husband how to fix it. Then the next time they came out to fix it they accused him of breaking it. OMG! Why would that do that! They are horrible. We went the whole first summer living there without our central air. My husband and I both work nights we would come home after a night at work to find out central air not working. When you call the office after hours they have a recording saying that if it is after hours and under 75 degrees outside they will not come to fix your air. We had a baby who was only 2 months old. Our apartment was 85 degrees inside. We went days without air. They would fix it and we would leave for work and come home to find it not working AGAIN! They had to replace the whole unit 2 times now. We were a day late on our rent because of the ice storm. They returned our check to us with a notice saying that since it was late we had to pay with a cashiers check and had to pay a late fee. That was totally uncalled for. I understand it was our fault, but still they had no sympathy because of the snow and ice. We renewed our lease for 6 months so that we could use that time to find a house to get out of this HORRIBLE place. We dropped off our lease in the drop box along with our February rent. That was on 2/1. On 2/6 we receive another notice saying that we did not pay our rent and we have to do a cashiers check with a late fee. OMG are you serious! I got angry and called the apartments the next morning and found out that for some odd reason they decided to charge us double! But they realized they made a mistake and would fix it. GREAT!!! I thinkg that if you have a chance DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
