Apartment Review for Courtyards Of Tulsa - Tulsa, OK

It's quite nice here. Not a lot of noise. I feel safe here. I hardly see the other tenants except the ones that have a little dog to walk each day, and in the summer when people lay by the pool and kids swim.

The outside of the apartments look great. They spend all their time working on the outside, now it's about time to work on the inside. The thing I am dissatisfied the most with is the kitchen and bathroom. They're lacking of cabinet space and in the kitchen, we really have to pack things tight to fit our food and cups/dishes. There isn't a pantry so that makes it even more difficult. I hope one day they will remodel the kitchen to have more cabinet space as well as the appliances. The refrigerator is probably 15 years old. The bathrooms only have cabinet space under the sink, and then maybe 2 tiny 4-inch wide drawers made of cheap particle board. All the apartments come with a washer/dryer, so that was a big plus for us. Our washer is new, so the last one must have finally died before we moved in.

The water heater doesn't hold much hot water, my hot showers last for 10 minutes (while I continue to turn the knob to keep it hot). The water bill is community shared, meaning everyone in the community pays the same price for the water. If a lot of people use it in the summer and you don't, you'll still be paying what they pay.

Office staff are nice. We don't really visit them often and we never really get bothered by them, which to me is a sign that I can more easily call this place home. I feel like we have our privacy here so I respect that. We haven't had many maintenance problems. Once, our sink disposal was leaking and needed to be replaced, as soon as the part was shipped in (next day) they came back and replaced it immediately. I don't know if that's because it was first priority, or if they're just good workers. Either way, I felt served.

Other than the kitchen and bathrooms needing to be remodeled, I like it here. I feel safe and haven't had any problems with neighbors. It's pretty quiet around here except for the groundkeepers who may be leafblowing or cutting grass, etc. I would recommend this place to my friends if they could afford it.
